I have decided to introduce you to the world of Sherillia.
Sherillia is a sentient planet which orbits the sun directly opposite Planet Earth and in the exact same orbit. Sherillia also has two sentient moons, her daughters. She is a very motherly planet and very, very magical.
As she orbits, Sherillia sheds tiny, very tiny, bits of magic in her wake. Over the centuries some of that magic has been accumulating on Planet Earth. It tends to gather in Scotland and Ireland. But that is a tale for another time.
Sherillia has birthed four moderately sized continents and several archipelagos.
The largest continent is called Creativa and is a karmic continent, where every act is rewarded sooner or later with an equal act. Most of the creativity on Sherillia comes from Creativa.
The second largest continent on Sherillia is, of course, Mundania. This continent is the one that has shed the most magic and has collected most of the science shed by Planet Earth. It tends to be quite practical and the products of Mundania are useful in ordinary ways.
And now we come to the continents with major archipelagos, Brendalia and Caseyon.
The magical races: dragons, fairies, elves, gnomes, trolls etc, flourish best on these continents.
There are several races of various sizes from fairly large dragons, approximately human-sized down to tiny for the others. These races generally live in peace and cooperation. Even the dragons are benign.
The larger of the races live on the mainlands of Brendalia and Caseyon. The small, yet not tiny, live mostly on the archipelagos of Brendalia, while the archipelagos of Caseyon are inhabited by the smallest. There is, of course, a bit of mixing as they are a free group and tend to go where they choose to go
Sherillia nurtures them all, encouraging them in their pursuits, aiding and boosting with all her love.
I will share more about Sherillia and her continents at a later date.
